Congratulations, Alexa Reyna! Alexa, competed in France earlier in the season and qualified in the 400 free LCM with a 4:16.67. She finished second for France receiving the silver medal.

Congratulations, Alexa Reyna! 
Claire Weinstein, 8th grader at Highlands, is the youngest swimmer to qualify for the Olympic trials this year.  Claire qualified in the 400 free LCM with a time of 4:15.29 and in the 800 free LCM with a time of 8:45.34.  She will be competing in the Olympic trials, being held in Omaha in June.  She will be joined by her teammate, Alexa Reyna. The athletes are both members of the Westchester Aquatics Club (Carle Fierro, head coach) and the White Plains High School team (Patricia Gilmartin, head coach).  Alexa, a 9th grader at WPHS, competed in France earlier in the season and qualified in the 400 free LCM with a 4:16.67.  She finished second for France receiving the silver medal.  Alexa had qualified for the Olympic trials that were cancelled last year due to Co-vid.
