Members of the White Plains school community are invited to provide feedback on district communications during a caregiver/community member focus group on:
Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 12 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 6 p.m.
The virtual focus groups are part of the district’s voluntary communications audit, which began earlier this school year.
Communication specialists from Capital Region BOCES are reviewing the district’s communication processes and practices and will provide recommendations for improvement. The audit process also includes a review of print and online communications, interviews with key employees and additional focus groups with employees and students.
Responses from all focus group participants will be anonymous, so participating residents are encouraged to be open and honest with their feedback.
District leaders anticipate that the results of the communications audit will provide them with information about what the district does well, identify areas for improvement and outline steps district employees can take to better communicate with the entire school community.
Caregivers and community members who are interested in attending either the focus groups should RSVP at this link by October 25, 2021.
