White Plains High School’s Farrah Miller

Heads to State Championships

White Plains High School Senior Farrah Miller is returning to the Indoor New York State Indoor Track & Field Championships. Farrah, the Section 1 600-Meter Champion and White Plains High School record holder for the event, will be running her last race at that distance for WPHS.

The Rider College-bound sprinter is among the top athletes in the state, and her efforts at the State Meet, which is being held on Saturday, March 2nd,  at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex on Staten Island, will not be her last race of the season. On March 8th, at the famed Armory in Manhattan, Farrah will compete at the New Balance Indoor National Championships, running the 400 Meters.

Farrah is one of the High School team captains and is coached by Fred Singleton.
