  • Barnes & Noble is pleased to announce the 2018 My Favorite Teacher Contest!

    The winning teacher from each store will be entered into the regional contest and each regional winner will receive a $500 gift card - and the chance to be named Barnes & Noble's National Teacher of the Year. The Barnes & Noble National Teacher of the Year will receive $5,000 and be recognized at a special event at a Barnes & Noble store. The winning teacher's school will also receive $5,000 as well.   • 8th Grade Trip to Washington D.C.

    We have about 10 seats left for the trip to Washington, D.C. in May (5/10-5/11)! We have secured tickets to the Holocaust Memorial Museum as well as the National Museum of African American History & Culture! Registration is open until all seats are filled! All registration documents can be found on the school website, outside the Main Office, Room 316 (Mrs. Holder) or Room 116 (Mrs. Spiconardi). All materials must be completed in pen and submitted together with check or money order ONLY--NO CASH! If you require medicine outside of school hours, your pediatrician must complete the blue medical form. This includes OTC medicines for allergies. For those already registered for the trip, the second payment of $110 is due Thursday, February 1.¡Tenemos aproximadamente 10 asientos para el viaje a Washington, D.C. en mayo (5 / 10-5 / 11)! ¡Hemos asegurado entradas para el Museo Conmemorativo del Holocausto, así como para el Museo Nacional de Historia y Cultura Afroamericana! ¡La inscripción está abierta hasta que se llenen todos los asientos!   • Attention 8th Graders, Parents and Guardians!

    Registration for the 2018 Washington, D.C. trip is NOW open! All registration documents are to be submitted together by Thursday, November 30. Registration includes the 1st payment of $110 (by check or money order ONLY--NO CASH), registration form, behavior contract and medical form (if you take medication outside of school). Partial scholarships are also available. All forms can be retrieved from the school website, the school front lobby or Mrs. Holder (Room 316) or Mrs. Spiconardi (Room 116).   • Girls Basketball

    Congratulations to the girls for winning their last game against Mt. Vernon Maroon 37-24. The team did a great job on offense and all were involved in the win. Kiersten Hardy, Tyana Thompson, both scored 2ponits. Maya Tillman and Daisy Harris scored 3 points each. Capri DeMara had 4 points, Lucy Barest scored 6 points. Natasha Mendez put up 7 points and Laysha Hatzilouloudes put up 10 points. Thank you to all the fans for your support. Great Job Tigers!!!!!

  • Boy's Modified Basketball

    Yesterday the Boy’s Modified basketball team defeated Isaac Young 69-63 to sweep the season series. David DeBernardo led all scorers with 17 points, John Lonski and Jack Donahoe had 12, Menzy Cardon 10, Brennyn Ordonez and Thomas Sutter 6, Evens Fleurinord 4 and Curtice Scully 2. Menzy Cardon dominated the boards and out rebounded Isaac Young and also had 4 blocked shots. The Tigers won 6 out of the 8 games played against the Mount Vernon and New Rochelle middle schools ending with an 8-4 record. Thank you for supporting your team. Coach Salley

  • Wrestling

    I would like to put an announcement in for the team. “Congrats to the White Plains Wrestling team team on finishing the season strong against, Horace Mann, Collegiate and RKA. Wins by: Carlos Rivera Terrance Walden Gable Garibaldi Finn Urmey Tyler Coble Nathan Espilliat Jack Herman. A special congratulations goes out to Jack Herman and Terrance Walden for having undefeated season”.

  • Boy Modified Swim Team

    On Monday the boys modified swim team completed their season with a 7-0 record. Their final meet went back and forth at the start but the team pulled away to take a controlling lead to finish the meet. All 14 members of the team contributed to the win and the overall season record. Congratulations on a great team accomplishment and season.

  • Modified Ice Hockey

    The Modified Ice Hockey Team defeated Lakeland 11-7 yesterday at Ebersole Ice Rink. The team was led by 8th Grader Robert Yardley's hat trick and 9th Grader Jason Katz' two goals and five assists. Goals were also scored by 9th Graders Collin Walsh and Jack Smith and 8th Graders Jason Monte, Teddy Hauser and Jack Fagan. Our next home game is Monday 1/29 against Rye at 415pm at Ebersole Ice Rink.
