  • "For the moving Up Ceremony"

    "For the moving Up Ceremony" the students are required to wear a gown over their clothing. The cost of the gown is $18.00. Check, money order or exact change should be brought to the main office with the student name and team no later than March 3. The gowns will only be ordered for the students that bring in the payment. If you have a gown from another White Plains student, you do not need to order another one.

  • Modified Ice Hockey

    Yesterday the Modified Ice Hockey Team completed their season with a 6-0 victory over Somers. Goalies Justin Esposito and Sebi Andrade combined for the shutout. 8th Grader Dylan McCloskey and 7th Grader Daniel Cardozo led the scoring with 2 goals a piece while the other two goals were scored by 8th Grader Ian MacEachern and 7th grader Jason Monte. Thanks for a great season and we look forward to taking the ice next year.

  • Boy's Modifed Basketball

    The boys basketball team redeemed and earlier loss by defeating Isaac Young in the final game of the season yesterday 62-55. The Tigers were aggressive on defense and hit big shots at key times throughout the game. 10 different players scored. Kenny Aracena had 14 points and Jason Giraldo had 11. They have lead the team in scoring the last two games. Morel Thomas also scored 11 points and Dwayne Edwards added another 6. The other players who scored were Akhin Turner, Jaiden Molina, Mike Grande, Nate Karl, Val Borkun and Michael Berlingo. Highlands, thank you for supporting us. A special thank you to our team manager Zaylee Sham, Ms. Sette, Ms. Adams and Mr. Armogida

  • Girls Basketball

    Congratulations to the girls modified basketball team for ending the season with back to back wins against Ursuline and Isaac Young. The two games went right down to the last second. Both games were come from behind wins and defense was the determining factor in the victories. In the first game against Ursuline White Plains won 23 - 22. Alexa Donahoe, Daisy Klink, Kathryn McAteer, Kayla Trainor, Natasha Mendez, Danielle Falcone all contribute to putting points on the board. In our last game against Isaac Young, White Plains won 30 - 29. With 1.41 seconds the team denied Isaac Young from getting the ball into their scorer and forced the ball out on the buzzer. Alexa Donahoe, Kayla Trainor, Daisy Klink, Khadeejah Steele, Nadia Nitollano, Adriana Moreno, Kiersten Hardy, Lucy Barest, all contribute to points on the board and Kayla Trainor had the final lay-up of the game to secure the win. Final season record 10-2. Great JOB TIGERS on an outstanding season!!!!!!
