Church Street students plant the seeds of their own learning in
our courtyard garden! Students visit the garden as scientists,
mathematicians, readers and writers.
In our seven raised beds, donated by local
entrepreneur Anthony Topping, classes have planted and harvested crops of
carrots, lettuce, corn, tomatoes and many herbs. Our five senses garden-- a bed
brimming with a wide selection of specimen plants- provides students with
diverse textures, shapes and fragrances to explore, record and harvest.
We are very proud of the parent/teacher
partnership that has made it all possible for our students!
