    Homework Policy
While homework is assigned most nights, the work is both review and practice to check for understanding and prepare for the next lesson. Homework is not optional and WILL help you to excel in ELA and Critical Literacy.

Homework is due on the due date. Major assignments are put on the monthly calendar to assure promptness. An assignment handed in a day late will result in the loss of two letter grades. Anything later than this will result in a zero.

    Student Absences
Students are responsible for making up homework that was assigned when they were absent. Assignments can be requested through the guidance office or through my email address elizabethgalvin@wpcsd.k12.ny.us.  For each day a student is absent an additional day will be allowed for homework to be completed.
