Hello. My name is Sungho Pak, and I am teaching Read 180 and Critical Literacy this year.
I have been teaching for twenty five years, and I must say that there has never been a dull moment. I began my career teaching third graders in the Bronx and then fourth graders in Manhattan. I have been at Eastview since 1997 teaching English. I attended Barnard College, Columbia University, where I received a bachelor of arts in Psychology. I also received a master's degree in elementary education from Teachers College, Columbia University. I hope my love and commitment to teaching reading and writing will help my students outgrow themselves as readers and writers. Sixth grade is both an exciting and challenging year. I am looking forward to working with you all. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to more effectively help your child have a successful year.
