Welcome to 6th Grade S.A.L. Class!
Support for Academic Learning - S.A.L.
Classroom Teacher: Ms. Fleischman
The "Support for Academic Learning" program helps students succeed academically. In S.A.L. class we focus on study skills, math skills, reading strategies, and the writing process. Students will be supported in their general academic classes based on the level of support listed on their IEP. One level of support which may be provided is through a push-in model called "Consultant Teacher". Another level of support may include having a teaching assistant providing support in the general education classroom. S.A.L. is a non-graded class. I will communicate with you about your child's progress through report cards, IEP report cards, phone calls, emails and meetings.
Students need to bring the following materials to class on a daily basis:IPad - charged upEarbuds
