    Announcements for Friday, November 17 A-Day

     

    Lunch Today -- sausage and pepper hero

     

     

     

    1. Yearbook cover drawing contest. If you're an artist and want the opportunity of designing the cover of this year's yearbook, please listen to the following! All drawings need to have a TIGER, AN IPAD, EASTVIEW 2017-2018 AND USE ALL THE COLORS FROM THE FIVE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS (purple, red, green, orange, white and black). ONLY DRAWINGS-NOTHING DIGITAL WILL BE ACCEPTED! Please submit to Ms. McAllen (Flynn) in room 124 by November 30th.

     

    2. Newspaper Club members - Please submit all articles to our Schoology group by today Our next meeting will be on Friday, December 1st for editing and layout. The meeting will be from 2:35-4:05 in room 313.

     

    3. INTERNATIONAL CLUB WILL CELEBRATE MEXICO ON TUESDAY 11/21. PRESENTERS DON'T FORGET! ROOM 317.

     

    4. Picture retakes will be held Wednesday, November 29. If you were absent on picture day or you would like another picture taken- please sign up in the main office. Only those students who sign up will be able to have their picture retaken.

     

    5. The White Plains High School Martial Arts Club is sponsoring their Annual Districtwide Holiday Animal Shelter Drive. Please bring in donations of: pet supplies, pet food, blankets, household cleaners and products. There will be a collection box in the Auditorium and in Ms. Galvin's Room 204. Visit fight4them.org for additional information and a shelter wish list!

     

    6. So excited- tonight is your first dance. Reminder- you cannot buy tickets at the door. All students attending the dance will report to the auditorium at 2:30 before proceeding to the dance. Please remember, students are not allowed to go home before the dance. Students remain at school and the dance starts around 2:45. You must have your parent/guardians pick you up by 4:45. Bus transportation will not be provided.

     

    7. The S.O. is proud to sponsor the Eastview Annual Thanksgiving Drive. All food will go to Lifting Up Westchester to provide Thanksgiving meals for those less fortunate. Food will be collected now through November 21.

    6. Calling all singers/songwriters and future rock STARS! Are you interested in learning to play the guitar? If so, consider joining “Eastview’s Guitar Club” which will meet on Tuesdays in room 327, after school, with Mr. Donnelly and Daya from 2:30-4:05. Instruments are provided…but you are welcome to bring your own axe. There are limited spots available - so get your permission slips in! We start today

Don't worry if you have a fifth period lunch, you will be planning for the next dance! Officers with a 5th period lunch should also check in with Mrs. Anastacio about selling tickets next week at lunch. Please remember, students are not allowed to go home before the dance.
