    Announcements for Friday, January 19 A-Day

    CELEBRATE KINDNESS WEEK

    2. There is a newspaper meeting today in room 313 from 2:35-4:05. Please come prepared with topics you would like to write about for our next issue!

     

    3. Students, please take a look at the lost and found items located in the front lobby of the auditorium.

    These items have been out for 3 weeks. All items will be donated to a charity today

     

    4. Interested in Math? Up for a challenge? Come test your skills and join the Math Club! Our first meeting will be after school on Monday, January 22nd in room 236 with Mr. Lavelle.

     

    5. Please remember to turn in your posters this morning to Ms. Pastore or Ms. Probber. Winners will be announced at the end of school today. Good luck! Thank you for being kind to one another.

    CELEBRATE KINDNESS WEEK

    2. The next yearbook meeting will be today

     

    3. There is a newspaper meeting this Friday in room 313 from 2:35-4:05. Please come prepared with topics you would like to write about for our next issue!

     

    4. Attention Valentine Artists: If your card was selected and you took it home to go over with marker - please return it to Ms. Fleischman immediately. Only 2 cards were returned.

     

    5. Students, please take a look at the lost and found items located in the front lobby of the auditorium.

    These items have been out for 3 weeks. All items will be donated to a charity on Friday, January 19th.

     

    6. Interested in Math? Up for a challenge? Come test your skills and join the Math Club! Our first meeting will be after school on Monday, January 22nd in room 236 with Mr. Lavelle.

     

    7. Valentine Crew petitions are due before 1st period today-January 18th! Hand them in before the 18th to guarantee your spot on the crew!

    All petitions must be returned to Ms. Fleischman in person!!

     

    8. Everybody can use a little bit of kindness in their life, and with Celebrate Kindness Week right around the corner, it is about time to start spreading the love.

    The Eastview Humanity Project is proud to announce- Celebrate Kindness Week at Eastview- Students you will be signing pledges and receiving kindness bracelets; participating in a Kindness poster contest; and learning about kindness in many subject areas.

    Please turn in poster entries to Ms. Pastore in room 333 or Ms. Probber in room 221 by tomorrow- Friday, the 19th, in the morning. There will be a prize awarded to a student from each of the five teams.

    Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of student change.

    7. Free tennis lessons are available on Friday nights at Tennis Innovators Academy at Delfino Park. No experience necessary. The next session starts on January 19th. There are some spots still available so please sign up quickly. See Coach Golden, Coach Francisco or Coach Bergen for details.
