The focus of the physical education program at White Plains is to teach, encourage, and inspire students to become physically literate.  A physically literate person has developed the skills and knowledge necessary to be physically active across a lifespan.  They have the motivation, confidence, and physical competence to participate in many games, sports, or physical fitness activities not just throughout their youth, but as they become adults.
