Student/Family Internet Assistance

There are two types of internet assistance available:

1. Optimum WiFi 

• Faster, more reliable, and easier to connect to
• No extra devices required
• Service not available everywhere
  
  You can use your student's iPad to find out if Optimum Wifi is available at your home:
  
  1. While you're at home, open the Settings app and go to Wi-Fi.
  2. If you see the "optimumwifi" in the list of "Other Networks" or "My Networks" you will be able to sign up and use this option
  
  
   

2. Mobile Hotspot

• Slower, requires extra steps to connect
• Extra device to charge 
• Service works in more locations
