The White Plains School District has a wealth of instructional technology resources for all schools and subject areas along with robust professional development opportunities for our staff.
The technology offices support all of the content based software, data systems, websites, computers, laptops, iPads, whiteboards and many other devices and apps, along with an enterprise WAN, LAN and WiFi network.
We offer the Project Lead the Way STEM courses in all of our schools, in addition to computer science and engineering courses at the High School.
We are a 1:1 iPad school district in grades K-12 and students in grades 6-12 take their iPad back and forth between home and school.
We have Office 365 for our email system and as a classroom tool for collaboration and producing materials, projects and presentations. We use two Learning Management Systems, SeeSaw and Schoology, which provides additional classroom, learning and assignment tools for our students and teachers.
