Free and Reduced Price School Meals

 

*If one or more people in your household receives benefits through Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Medicaid, or if your child is classified as homeless, runaway, or migrant, then your child is categorically eligible for free school meals, and you do not need to complete an Education Benefit Form. You should receive a letter from the Food & Nutrition Program Office confirming your child receives free school meals.  If you fall into one of these categories and have not been notified that your child is certified for free school meals, you should contact the School Food & Nutrition Program Office at (914)422-2054. 

You can submit an application any time during the school year and you may qualify to receive additional benefits:

  • Reduced-Price AP Exam Testing
  • Reduced-Price Internet Connectivity
  • Reduced-Price School Instruments
