New York State Learning Standards for the Arts

The New York State Education Department has recently adopted new Learning Standards for the Arts for the first time in over twenty years. These standards are alilgned directly with the National Core Arts Standards. 

Listed below are the eleven anchor standards for all five arts disciplines (Dance, Media Arts, Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts).
