Art Curriculum Overview

The White Plains School District offers art education as part of its graduation requirements for all children. To fulfill these requirements, students take art as part of their overall curriculum from Kindergarten through eighth grade.

In the ninth through twelfth grades, students are required to take one credit of Fine Arts to graduate. Many students continue to take art course electives beyond the state mandated requirement. We offer a large variety of courses at White Plains High School, which can be found in the course catalog.
