Post Road families get active physically and mentally during Family Math Night

Who knew math could be so much fun?! Post Road School had an amazing turn out for Family Math Night this Tuesday evening. The event included opportunities for students and families to engage with math in movement experiences in the gymnasium. Activities included whole body skip counting on math mats, coding and an estimation station. For games and puzzles requiring more concentration, families headed into the quieter cafeteria.

The evening also included a chance for families to work together to solve a mystery led by Post Road’s math specialists, Michelle Alperin and Samantha Escobar, that involved estimation. Overall, the event was enjoyed by all, and there were smiles all around!
