MAS partners with Brighter Days Project to write letters to children facing hardships

Two young children, a boy and a girl, are sitting at a table in a classroom setting, engaged in what appears to be an educational activity or assignment. The background includes various classroom elements such as shelves, posters, and other decorations, suggesting an educational environment.

Mamaroneck Avenue Elementary School was proud to partner with the Brighter Days Project to create letters of encouragement for children facing challenges and hardships. Working in buddy classes – where children work with their peers in other grade levels – students collaborated to create thoughtful, creative messages filled with kindness, hope, and support.

This project was especially meaningful for students, as it allowed them to connect with and encourage other children who may be going through difficult times. Click here to view the Brighter Days Project’s highlight of the project on Instagram and where the letters ultimately ended up.
