The high school teams have begun their competitions, and the middle school Tigers are diligently preparing for their games starting next week. Notably, the new football staff kicked off the season with an impressive 39–0 home victory against Poughkeepsie.

Several facilities upgrades have been made this school year, including new bleachers in the north gym and pool, an enhanced north gym sound system, a new south gym floor with new volleyball sleeves, updated softball and baseball scoreboards, new game/shot clocks at Loucks Stadium, a resurfaced tennis court, turf and new equipment in the high school weight room, and additional field storages.

"These improvements were made possible through the invaluable support of the Board of Education, district leadership, and collaboration with our facilities and operations team," Mr. Chappas says. "Thank you all for your continued support. We’re eager for a successful and positive school year. Go Tigers!"
