Halloween celebrations held throughout the district

A group of children, some dressed in colorful costumes, are smiling and posing together in front of a brick building.

Spooky, and very creative, costumes filled the halls of White Plains schools today, as celebrations of Halloween were held throughout the district. Several schools held parades and Halloween Spirit Day, and district staff at Education House even joined in on the fun by wearing costumes. To cap off the day, middle school students participated in the Fred Gressler Memorial Walk at Eastview and Highlands to raise funds for PTA events. Fred Gressler was a beloved physical education teacher and coach at White Plains Middle School for 27 years.
