A: The district will make every effort to ensure that communication to parents/legal guardians is in their preferred language and mode of communication. All required instructional units of study will be provided to all English language learners (ELLs) based on their most recently measured English language proficiency level during in-person or hybrid instruction. Maintenance of regular communication with parents/guardians of ELLs will be in their preferred language and mode of communication Each school will maintain regular communication with parents/guardians of ELLs to ensure that they are engaged in their children’s education during the reopening process and provide all communications for parents/guardians of ELLs in their preferred language and mode of communication.
