    White Plains Public Schools is currently seeking substitutes for classroom teachers.

    Substitutes enjoy flexible hours and can:

    • Determine the days and hours they want to work.
    • Select the school(s) in which they want to work.
    • Be home during vacations and holidays.

    Substitutes have an opportunity to:

    • Serve the children of our community on a part-time basis.
    • Gain experience in an educational environment.
    • Display and enhance their teaching skills.

     A Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s Degree is required. Teacher certification is preferred but not required.

    Frontline Online Substitute System 

    The Frontline online substitute system is the system White Plains Public School teachers use to register an absence and to secure a substitute teacher in the classroom. It is also the system that substitute teachers access information about what assignments are available to them within the District. At the beginning of the school year, each staff member was given a Frontline user name and password to access the system. For more information, click on the icon below.
