You can help support your child's art education at home by reading to your children, visiting museums, or using the Internet to re-discover the art your child has learned about in art class.
Encourage your child to draw pictures and display their artwork in a prominent place to foster self-esteem!
Provide your child with a variety of materials and a space to create.  This can be as simple as a small table in the corner with paper and crayons, or as elaborate as a room painted in chalkboard paint.  An art desk full of markers and paints, a painting easel with paints and brushes, or a box full of old containers, tubes, tape and glue can all help your child discover their inner artist.  The best thing you can do is give them the freedom to explore and allow them to make mistakes and take chances!
