10/19- Thursday: WPHS Open House- 7pm- Besides meeting your child's teacher, stop by the PTA booth to become a Member, purchase Spirit Wear or simply let us know what you would like from your PTA or ask a Volunteer for one of our upcoming student centered fund-raising events.
Guidance Dept Workshops: 10/26 - Thursday: Guidance presents FAFSA Night - 7:00 pm They will help you fill out your actual FAFSA form.
WPHS Varsity Baseball Fundraiser: The Varsity baseball team will be raising money for their Spring Training Trip in April through fundraising events. Their first event is a Hot Pretzel sale at dismissal on the next 4 Fridays - 10/20, 10/27, 11/3 and 11/17. They will have two locations set up for yummy pretzels: Auditorium exit, and the sports circle. The pretzels are $1 each. Support our team #WPProud

simulated Teen bedroom and spot the signs of drug and alcohol use.
Congratulations to Prof. Karen Tyska and Julianna Mucciolo, Prof. Gandolfo Scarpa and Marcelo Cappello, and Prof. Guiseppe Spedaliere and Alison Cunney for being recognized by County Exec Robert Astorino for their superior performance in Italian studies and their exemplary academic character! They were honored on 10/3 at the celebration of Italian Culture and Heritage in America. We are #WPProud.
“Roar,” White Plains High School’s literary magazine for 2016, was awarded First Place once again in the annual competition of the American Scholastic Press Association.

10/20 - Friday: Miles of Hope Fundraiser...There will be an assembly Period 3: Guest Speaker- Danielle Calvanco PA, Breast Cancer Clinical Navigator at White Plains Hospital and breast cancer survivor. There will be a Miles of Hope Soccer Challenge in the gymnasium during Period 6.
