The philosophy of business and marketing education is to help all students develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors necessary to succeed in the workforce. These acquired skills will also prepare students for post-secondary study in a business cluster.
Business and marketing education will help students develop skills in finance, information systems, computer applications, entrepreneurship, marketing, management, and international trade. Business and marketing education provides instruction about the business world that is a necessary component for students to become contributing citizens who are capable of making astute economic and consumer decisions.
