Yearbook Cover Contest!

If you are interested in participating in the drawing contest, please submit to Ms. Flynn (room 114) by Friday 12/9/16. Please turn in your drawings ASAP, we only have 2 entries.

Martial Club Help for animals

WPHS Martial Arts Club will be collecting pet food, kitty litter, toys, old blankets and cleaning supplies between now and winter vacation. Please drop off items to Ms. Galvin in room 204.

WP PTA Book Donations Needed

If you are fall cleaning - DON'T give away those Summer Reading (K-12) and  TEST PREP  books.  Contact Caroline Furry, dfurrywitt@netzero.com   or Caroline Staab  staabcaro@yahoo.com , and you can drop off at their homes for the May 2017 PTA FREE Book Celebration!  In addition, if you would like to join our committee and support literacy please let us know.  We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers!   Please no preK, coffee table books and/or reference books.

White Plains Little League

On behalf of the White Plains Little League Board of Directors, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us for our 23nd Season of Little League Baseball in the City of White Plains. White Plains Little League has much to be thankful for, and you are an important part to our success. We hope you will join us again this season!

This year players born between 5/1/02 and 12/31/11 (8/31/12 for boys only) can register. Registration runs now through  February 1, 2017 . In Person registration will be available at the Rec Dept during normal business hours starting 11/5/2015. In Person forms can be downloaded directly from our site and filled out prior to arriving at the Rec Dept. Eligible players can also register online at  www.whiteplainslittleleague. com .

To complete the secure on-line registration process, payment must be received. We now use PayPal for all payment process. You do not need to have a PayPal account to complete the payment process.

2017 Player Fees

$150 - Instructional Baseball/Softball (Boys born between 8/31/2012 & 9/1/2008 and Girls born between 12/31/2011 & 1/1/2009)

$175 - Competitive Baseball/Softball (Boys born between 8/31/2008 & 5/1/2004 and Girls born between 12/31/2008 & 1/1/2004)

$250 - Junior Travel Baseball (Boys born between 4/30/2004 & 5/1/2002)

$400- Family Discount (3 or more siblings registered to play) ;


PLEASE NOTE - ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY  FEBRUARY 1, 2017.  ANY REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER  2/1/17  WILL BE SUBJECT TO A WAITING LIST AND A LATE REGISTRATION PROCESSING FEE OF $50.

My Brother's Keeper Summit @ Highlands

The My Brother’s Keeper Planning Committee is holding a Summit at Highlands Middle School, 128 Grandview Avenue, Tuesday, December 6, 6 p.m. to map out a plan to support lifelong positive outcomes for White Plains young men and young boys of color. The Summit will address a number of important issues regarding education and success.
