- headlineTitle:Highland's Band pays honor to the Veterans
- headlineBody:This past Friday, Nov. 11, the Highlands 8th Grade Band payed honor to the Veterans by playing the Star-Spangled Banner at this year's Veteran's Day Ceremony at the White Plains Rural Cemetary. The weather was cold but they played wonderfully and represented Highlands Middle School extremely well.

- headlineBody:designed, built and presented three-dimensional models of cells. Students made models out of all kinds of materials including clay, fabric, Styrofoam, and shoeboxes, as well as delicious cake and Jello models. It was a tasty cell-a-bration!

- headlineBody:On Friday, Dec 16th the Highlands Select Choir and joint Eastview/Highlands holiday band launched out on a tour to spread holiday cheer throughout White Plains. They sang and player holiday music at Ed House, NY Presb. Hospital and the Galleria Mall.
