WPHS Hall of FameThe White Plains High School Hall of Fame, initiated in 1996, honors White Plains High School graduates who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and/or have significantly and positively impacted the lives and welfare of their community. Each year, four to six distinguished alumni have been inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony at White Plains High School. Their photos are displayed at the High School for all to see. For the past 30 years, Mr. Benziger, along with his 6 brothers and sisters, all with roots in White Plains, has built the Benziger Family Winery in Sonoma County, California, widely respected for it wines as well as its organic, Biodynamic and sustainable farming practices. Dr. Corwin, an internist and cardiologist, has been at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center since 1979 and, in September 2011, was appointed CEO of the same institution, now called NY-Presbyterian Hospital.
