The Board is comprised of seven members, elected at large for three-year terms.  It is responsible for establishing policies which govern the education of all children attending district schools and for insuring adherence to state laws and regulations.

The Board encourages communication and invites the public to attend its meetings.  Regular meetings are held at 7:30 P.M. on the second Monday of each month or as designated.  Special meetings and work sessions to be scheduled will include informational programs for parents as well as an opportunity for discussion with Board of Education members and the Superintendent of Schools.
