The White Plains Public Schools serve youngsters in PreKindergarten through twelfth grade in campuses spread throughout White Plains.  The school district has:

• Five elementary schools for kindergarteners through 5^th graders, each offering a challenging curriculum.

• One middle school located on two campuses for 6^th through 8^th graders, offering many curricular and extracurricular opportunities to prepare students to meet the challenges of the high school.

• One high school for 9^th through 12^th graders offering over 400 courses, including more than 25 honors and advanced placement courses. The high school's recent renovation includes state-of-the-art media center and science classrooms on a 72 acre campus that includes tennis courts, a pool, and a fitness center.

• An alternative program for 7^th through 12^th graders needing a smaller setting.

• PreKindergarten program for four-year olds and adult and continuing education classes for thousands of adults.
