Specialized programs and rich and varied curriculum offerings for preschoolers through twelfth graders have characterized our schools for many years.

All our curriculum areas – English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies to name a few – include basic concepts whose mastery is essential for a well-rounded education. The rigorous Learning Standards of the New York State Department of Education are included, of course, in all subject matter that is taught in White Plains. Assessments of our students’ performance in each of the curriculum areas, also mandated by the State, begin as early as fourth grade and continue through high school.
